The Project team has been busy and we will soon be even busier and in more visible ways.  As you read this and have any questions, please feel free to comment below.

Here's what we've been working on and what's next:

Current Work:

• Talking with your SIS Vendor contacts to prepare them for the project
• Creating the Data Profile that will be used by SIS Vendors to update the software that will allow PED to collect your data auto-magically.
• Setting up our Development and Test environment and install the new data management tool set
• Begin Technical Work sessions with CPSI, ltd.
• Planning the migration to the new Unique ID system
• Following-up with Districts and Charters for whom we still don't have survey responses
• Scheduling meetings with the two Pilot Districts, Albuquerque Public Schools and Los Alamos Public Schools, to prepare for setting up their connections

Next Steps:

• Configuration of the new data management tools
• Connect Pilot Schools and begin data collection into our Development and Test environment
• Survey PED Bureau staff about reports, rules and their eagerness to be involved
• Create data validation rules in the system
• Begin Monthly meetings with SIS Vendors
