|  Mary Montoya, our new CIO, is coming up to speed on all our projects and is very interested in broadening the conversation of Project Nova with your LEA IT Organizations. - She has reached out to all District and Charter IT directors and will be setting up a meeting with them next week to gain insight and ideas from their perspective on our project specifically and on shared technical projects and challenges generally. Her intention is to set up recurring meetings with the full group and establish smaller working groups as needed.
- She has asked that our project, “pause," and while she holds these meetings with your IT Directors, continues to research and understand the architectural options, and makes a decision about future of the project.
We will continue to support the pilot connections and data collection and will be moving the Unique ID application to our new production environment. Beyond that; we will NOT be moving forward at this time with the roll out the automated data validations and error reporting to the pilots, and or connections to other LEAs. It is expected that this project “pause" will extend through the end of the calendar year. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to PED.
